AUTAUGA COUNTY, AL : Center Point man killed in Autauga County crash on Monday, 8th July 2024

An investigation is underway after an early morning crash claimed the life of a Birmingham area man in Autauga County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

William G. Donaldson, 58, of Center Point, was killed around 4:25 a.m. when the 1990 Ford Ranger pickup truck he was driving left the roadway and hit a tree, ALEA said. The victim was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, investigators said.

The crash happened on Autauga County 57 near Valleyview Road. That’s about three miles north of Prattville.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
