Hagerstown, MD : Tractor-trailer crashes on Salem Avenue ramp from southbound I-81 on Thursday morning, September 1, 2016

A tractor-trailer went over an embankment off Interstate 81 at the Salem Avenue interchange in Hagerstown Thursday morning, according to Maryland State Police.

The truck was heading south on I-81 and exited at the Salem Avenue ramp. It went up the ramp, crossed Salem Avenue then went down an embankment on the other side, police said.

No one was injured, according to police.

The crash was reported at 4:53 a.m., a Washington County Emergency Services supervisor said.
