Tallahassee, FL : Drivers seriously injured in wrong-way crash in Land O' Lakes on Sunday, 6th November 2016

Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a car going the wrong way on State Road 52 in Land O'Lakes collided with another vehicle near Hays Road early Sunday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Richard Sandora, 26, of New Port Richey, was driving a Dodge Stratus, headed east in the westbound lanes, at around 2 a.m. He collided head-on with a Nissan Maxima driven by 22-year-old Aaron Vetter, of New Port Richey, troopers said.

Investigators believe the accident was alcohol related and charges against Sandora are pending, a highway patrol news release said.
