Haverhill,MA : Car crashes into building in Haverhill on June, Sunday 18th 2017

Police said a car crashed into a building on Casablanca Court early Monday night.

According to police, the car struck a gas meter and forced the evacuation of the building.

The street is a short distance from Exit 50 on Interstate 495.

Fire Department officials said National Grid workers were on the scene during the early evening investigating.

It is unclear at this time how many people have been evacuated from the building, what type of dwelling it is, or what caused the vehicle to crash into the building.
