Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in ElkridgeMaryland

Howard County police say a motorcyclist died after crashing on the entrance ramp from Route 1 onto Route 100 eastbound in Elkridge.

The accident occurred around 3:30 Saturday morning. The motorcyclist has been identified as 42-year-old David Spriggs of Owings, in Calvert County.

Police believe Spriggs lost control as he tried to take the exit and was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
