ATTLEBORO, MA : Hit-and-run crash results in drunken driving charges on Monday, 12th November 2018
A city woman faces drunken driving charges related to a hit-and-run crash at Newport Avenue and May Street over the weekend.
Alyssa M. Cokonis, 23, of 7 Benefit St., pleaded innocent Tuesday in Attleboro District Court to a second-offense drunken driving charge and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
No injuries were reported in the two-car collision, which occurred about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Officer James Butler reported finding Cokonis parked at the Attleboro Water Treatment plant on West Street less than a mile from the accident scene.
