Waterloo, IA : A Charles City woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Tuesday, August 8, 2017

A Charles City woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Johnson County Tuesday night.

Tiffany L. Beckles, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash was reported about 10:35 p.m. at 1160 Highway 1 near Solon.

The Iowa State Patrol said Beckles was driving a Mercury Mountaineer southbound on Highway 1 when the vehicle went off the roadway into the west ditch and struck an Iowa Department of Transportation sign and rolled.

The crash remains under investigation.
