Malibu, CA : One person injured in motorcycle-car crash on Topanga Canyon Boulevard on Tuesday, Oct 6, 2015

A person was critically injured in a head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle in Topanga Canyon, authorities said today.

The collision occurred around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, about a mile inland from Pacific Coast Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The victim was airlifted to a hospital, but it was not known if that person was the driver of the car or the motorcycle, CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos said.
