One person is dead due to injuries suffered in a motorcycle, SUV crash.
Mark Bressler, 43, of Spring Mills, died after a head-on crash with an SUV, according to state police. Bressler, according to police, was driving eastbound on a Harley Davidson and crossed the yellow line at about 1 p.m. Sunday on the 3900 block of Penns Valley Road. Mark Boeckel, 36, of Spring Mills, was driving a Chevy Suburban, which carried four occupants. The SUV was traveling westbound when it was hit.
Bressler died, and two people were transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries, according to state police at Rockview.
Gregg, Millheim and Centre Hall fire companies and Penns Valley EMS responded to the scene.
State police are investigating.
