COLUMBIA, SC : One person dead after Columbia crash on Tuesday, 31st July 2018

A passenger is dead after a crash that happened in Columbia on Tuesday.

The accident involved three vehicles at the intersection of Two Notch Road and Polo Road.

Investigators say the driver of a Ford van was not able to stop and hit one vehicle, causing it to crash into another.

A passenger in the van was hurt and taken to a hospital where they later died.

That person's identity has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation by SCHP.
