Upperco, MD : Woman killed after hit by a pickup truck backing out of a driveway in Upperco Sunday evening, May 8, 2016

A woman was killed after she was hit by a pickup truck backing out of a driveway in Upperco.

The Baltimore County Police Department says the incident occurred Sunday evening. The woman, identified by police as 68-year-old Darlene Grall of Upperco, was bent over in a driveway. A pickup was backing out of the same driveway and hit her.

Grall was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Police say the driver remained at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
