Nogales, AZ : Three people injured after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 19 north of Nogales on Saturday morning, November 19, 2016
Three people were taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash that forced the closure of northbound lanes of Interstate 19 just north of Nogales at milepost 7, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The Department of Public Safety says two people were airlifted to a hospital, one was taken by ambulance after the crash that happened Saturday morning, Nov. 19. The highway was closed from about 8:30 a.m. to about 11 a.m.
DPS public information officer Quentin Mehr said the crash involved one vehicle that rolled over. Mehr said there were injuries, but no details about the injuries or injured were immediately available.
Drivers were detoured at Mariposa Road onto the frontage road and could re-enter the highway at Ruby Road.
Southbound lanes remained clear.
