Gaston County ,NC :Tractor-trailer crash snarls traffic on I-85 near McAdenville on Wednesday morning ,September 2nd 2015

Two lanes of Interstate 85 in Gaston County were blocked early Wednesday morning after a crash involving two tractor-trailers, officials told Channel 9.

The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-85 near exit 23 in McAdenville.

it appeared that one of the tractor-trailers had rear-ended the other. A van was also involved in the wreck.
Initially, all lanes were closed, but after briefly reopening all lanes, emergency officials had to shut down the interstate again to remove a large pipe one of the big rigs was hauling.
