A Kittanning man suffered a minor injury after a two-vehicle crash on Route 28 in Armstrong County on Thursday in which his pickup rolled over two to four times, state police said.

State police said the collision happened shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday on Route 28 northbound, about two-tenths of a mile from Exit 18, in North Buffalo Township.

According to police, Roger C. Trow, 47, of Kittanning was traveling north in the right lane when he merged into the left lane and hit another pickup driven by Christopher J. Spanbauer, 38, of Templeton.

Police said Trow lost control of his pickup and traveled sideways for about 140 feet before leaving the road. The truck went into the center median, where it continued sideways and rolled two to four times for about 230 feet before coming to rest on its wheels in the left lane of Route 28 northbound.

Trow was taken to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment, state police said in a news release issued Friday morning.
