PADUCAH, KY : Collision on I-24 sends 4 to local hospital in McCracken County on Saturday, 15th June 2024

A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 24 in McCracken County sends four people to the hospital, including two juveniles.

Around 3:48 p.m. on June 15, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury collision on I-24 eastbound around the 16-mile marker.

According to the sheriff’s office, 37-year-old Diane Nedvidek was operating a 2021 Ford Bronco, and 71-year-old Vicki Sharp was operating a 2019 Buick Encore.

Nedvidek and Sharp collided, sending both vehicles off the roadway where they overturned in the median of I-24 and the exit 16 on-ramp. Both Nedvidek and Sharp had to be extracted by mechanical means.

Nedvidek and her two children were transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-incapacitating injuries. Sharp was also transported to a local hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
