HOOKSETT, NH : After several crashes on New Hampshire roads on Thursday, 22nd November 2018

After several crashes on New Hampshire roads on Friday, state police are urging drivers to take it easy through the busy weekend.

“This is a busy travel time for us,” said state police Sgt. Daniel Baldassarre. “We're coming into shopping for Christmas season, and now a lot of the ski slopes are starting to open up. So we're busy every weekend now.”Among the crashes on Friday was a fatal one on Interstate 93 North in New Hampton.

“Troopers on the scene observed a vehicle that was off the road that had been overturned,” Baldassarre said. “Unknown why the vehicle went off the road, but at this time it appears speed was a factor. There were two occupants in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was deceased at the scene.”
