Concord, CA : 63-year-old man killed in a collision on Kirker Pass Road on Friday evening, November 18, 2016

A 63-year-old man was killed Friday evening in a collision on Kirker Pass Road, according to police.

Police believe the victim was sitting inside his disabled vehicle in the 2000 block of Kirker Pass shortly before 7 p.m. when a second motorist struck his car. The unidentified victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The second driver sustained minor injuries.
