Midland, MI : 53-year-old Texas woman killed in a crash in Clare County on Wednesday, May 18, 2016
A 53-year-old Texas woman was killed in a crash that occurred Wednesday in Clare County, Michigan State Police report.
The crash was reported at 2:31 p.m., bringing officials to the intersection of South Lake State Avenue and West Maple Grove Road, a media release states.
Carol Lyne Bradley was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram north when it and a westbound 2005 Ford Crown Victoria collided. The driver of the Ford, a 34-year-old Weidman woman, failed to stop at a stop sign. Her name has not been released.
Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passengers, a 76-year-old woman and a 32-year-old woman, were both taken to MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford was hurt and was taken to MidMichigan-Midland for treatment. Her passenger, a 36-year-old woman, was not hurt.
Drugs might be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
