Annapolis, MD : Three people injured in multiple-vehicle collision on Route 178 in Annapolis mall Tuesday afternoon, Aug 4, 2015

Three people were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following separate crashes in Annapolis.

Annapolis police said a crash involving a motorcycle on Bay Ridge Avenue sent a woman to University of Maryland Shock Trauma. The extent of her injuries wasn't immediately known.

Another crash occurred in the 2100 block of Generals Highway. Two women, ages 57 and 83, were transported to Shock Trauma with injuries that were considered serious but not life-threatening, a county fire department spokesman said.
