Spartanburg, SC : One person killed in pickup crash on Interstate 85 on Thursday November 5 2015

Authorities say a pickup truck struck and killed a man who was loading a vehicle onto a wrecker on the shoulder of Interstate 85.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol tells local media outlets the man was loading up a disabled vehicle just after 6:30 p.m. Thursday at mile marker 60 in Spartanburg County when a Ford pickup truck ran off the right side of the road and hit him.
On Friday, Coroner Rusty Clevenger identified the man as 42-year-old James Edward Mills Jr. of Taylors. Authorities say he was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
