Las Vegas ,NV : Motorcyclist killed in crash with bus along Interstate 215 near airport on Sunday ,May 17th 2015

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a motorcyclist in a crash with a bus near McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

The patrol says a man on a Harley-Davidson apparently failed to maintain his travel lane and ran into the side of a large bus on the airport connector road north of Interstate 215 about 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

The man died at the scene. His name has not been released.

No one else was injured.

Traffic was slowed in the area for several hours while troopers conducted an investigation.
