One person injured in road crash at Leacock township

One person was taken to the hospital after a truck went off the road and into trees Wednesday night in Upper Leacock Township.

The accident happened around 10:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Newport Road, near Horseshoe Road.

Fire officials at the scene reported that the 46-year-old male driver may have had a medical issue prior to the crash.

No other vehicles were involved.
