PORTER TOWNSHIP, MI : 1 injured in Cass County crash on U.S. 12 and Sunset Boulevard on Thursday, 3rd January 2019

One person is injured after a two-vehicle crash in Cass County.

It happened just after 7 a.m. on U.S. 12 and Sunset Boulevard in Porter Township.

The driver of one car, 33-year-old Lindsay Sztojka, reportedly failed to yield while pulling onto U.S. 12, which caused the driver of a pickup truck, 33-year-old Nicholas Rink, to hit Sztojka. The impact caused her car to split in half.

Rink was not injured, and Sztojka was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
