SEMINOLE, OK : Asher man dies in Tuesday morning crash on Tuesday, 20th March 2018

An Asher man died Tuesday morning in a crash north of Seminole, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Byron Cole, 57, died at the scene of the crash, about 2 miles north of Seminole in Seminole County, troopers said.

About 8:20 p.m., Cole was driving south on State Highway 3 when a northbound vehicle went left of center and crashed into his tractor-trailer head-on, according to a patrol report.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, Brian Gentry, 34, of Shawnee was flown to OU Medical Center in critical condition.
