SAN JOSE, CA : Fatal crash with semi-truck on Highway 101 on Tuesday, 15th September, 2020

A person is dead after an accident with a semi-truck on Highway 101 early Tuesday morning, according to initial reports.

The two vehicles were traveling north on 101, just south of Tully Road, at about 1:15 a.m. when the Honda sedan apparently crashed into the big rig.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.

California Highway Patrol closed all but one northbound lane for about two hours, but all lanes had reopened by 3:15 a.m.
