Rapid City, SD : Two injured in head-on collision Tuesday night in east Rapid City, November 11, 2014

Two men suffered serious injuries in a head-on collision Tuesday night in east Rapid City. According to the Highway Patrol, Lawrence Matzke, 32, of Rapid City, was driving a Chevy Cavalier on Highway 44 near its intersection with Twilight Drive when he veered into oncoming traffic. Matzke’s car collided head-on with a Buick Century driven by Daniel Knight, 39, of Green Bay, Wis. Both men were transported to Rapid City Regional Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles suffered disabling damage. The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
