Indianapolis, IN : Man struck, killed in hit and run crash on city's northwest side Thursday night, February 9, 2017

A man has died after he was hit by a car on the city's northwest side Thursday night.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police say he was hit near 38th Street and High School Road.

The man was hit as he attempted to cross 38th Street around seven o'clock.

Police say they are looking for a light colored Chevy Suburban.

The SUV was last seen going west on 38th St. from High School Rd.
