A car and a box truck crashed south of Georgetown Monday morning, seriously injuring a 21-year-old man, according to state police.
State police said the 21-year-old was driving a Nissan Altima and didn't yield when crossing over Dupont Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. A box truck driven by a 51-year-old from Maryland then hit his vehicle, according to state police.
The 21-year-old was flown to Beebe Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The box truck driver was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
