PALMDALE, CA : 14 Freeway briefly closed after crash in Palmdale injures 6 on Thursday, November 24th 2016
At least six people were injured when three vehicles crashed on the 14 Freeway Thursday in Palmdale, according to authorities.
The crash took place on the northbound 14 Freeway at Avenue N at about 2 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Michele Bond.
“Three vehicles crashed and four people suffered moderate injuries,” Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Art Marrujo said. “Two suffered minor injuries and we transported two people to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.”
There was no word yet on the gender or ages of the victims.
The CHP declared a SigAlert at 2:44 p.m. and shut down the number 1 and 2 lanes, Bond said. The SigAlert was canceled and all lanes were re-opened at 3:07 p.m., according to the CHP.
The crash remained under investigation by the CHP.
