Ventura, CA : One person injured in multi car crash on Highway 101 in Ventura on Thursday, December 25, 2014

One person was taken to a hospital after a multi car crash Thursday in Ventura, officials said.

The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 2:55 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near the Main Street offramp.

Four vehicle were involved in the collision and one of the vehicles went off the roadway into some trees, the patrol reported.

Two men were seen running from the crash, CHP said.

One person was taken to Ventura County Medical Center with minor injuries and a complaint of pain, officials said.

Three lanes of the highway were closed for about an hour but were reopened by 4:08 pm.
