Allentown, PA : Driver, child injured after vehicle crashes into Cumberland County house on Saturday, 10th September 2016

The driver and a child were rushed to the hospital after a car smashed through a home in Upper Allen Township Saturday.

Habiba I. Billow, 23, who has a learner's permit to drive, pressed down the accelerator, instead of the brake, as she was parking a vehicle and crashed it into the living room of a home in the 700 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle, police said.

Billow, and a child who was in the living room at the time, were injured in the crash, police said. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment. No information on their condition was immediately available.

Billow, of the 700 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle, has been charged with carless driver and learners permit-driving without being properly accompanied.
