A Lehigh Acres man, who was driving a tractor trailer, caused an eight-vehicle crash Thursday in Glades County.

Only minor injuries were reported, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

At 6:41 a.m. Wellinton Acosta Acevedo, 42, was driving west on CR-74 about a mile west of Fire Tower Road, when he drifted into the eastbound lane and struck the right side of a vehicle driven by Herbert Mann, 60, of Punta Gorda.
