Southeastern Pennsylvaniaman killed by van when jack slips

A southeastern Pennsylvania man has died after a van fell on his neck after it slipped off a jack while the man was working beneath the vehicle.York County Coroner Barry Bloss says the victim is 62-year-old Harry Mitchell Jr., of Penn Township.Mitchell was working on the vehicle in his driveway when it fell on him. The coroner says Mitchell wasn't able to breathe because of the pressure from the vehicle.
The coroner says a passer-by saw the victim and ran to get a neighbor. Both used the jack to lift the vehicle off Mitchell, but the coroner says it was too late to save him.The accident was discovered just before 11 a.m. Monday.
