An 18-year-old woman was injured Tuesday in a two-vehicle rollover collision in front of the Common Cents store on Sheridan Lake Road.
Hannah Halverson of Rapid City was speeding northbound on Sheridan Lake Road in a Mercury Sable at about 4 p.m. when she smashed into a Ford F350 that was pulling into the gas station, according to the Rapid City police.
The truck rolled over from the collision but its driver, a 53-year-old woman from Buffalo Gap, wasn't injured.
Halverson sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported the Rapid City Regional Hospital, according to the police.
She was cited for speed beyond reason, not having proof of insurance and driving with expired license plates, the police said.
