BELLEVUE, NE : Four-vehicle crash in Bellevue on Tuesday, 21st May 2019

Bellevue authorities are sorting through a four-vehicle accident that shut down traffic on Fort Crook Road in both directions at the Cornhusker intersection Tuesday morning.The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m.

Two people were trapped in the wreckage. Fire Department crews had to extricate the driver and a passenger from one of the cars. A witness said a third person in that vehicle was able to get out before emergency crews arrived.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
