Bethesda, MD : Woman Dies After 3-Car Crash In Bethesda on Saturday morning, November 29, 2014
An 88-year-old New Jersey woman has died from injuries suffered after a three-car collision in Maryland Saturday morning.
Police in Bethesda, Md. responded to a collision on Democracy Boulevard at the ramp from southbound I-270 around 11:30 a.m.
A 2004 Toyota Camry was struck by a Montgomery County-owned 2010 Ford F250, which was then struck by a 2008 Mercedes, according to a local media report.
Police said Montgomery County Fire Rescue transported everyone involved in the collision to a local hospital.
The passenger of the Camry, Betty Nelson of Cherry Hill, suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. Nelson later died from her injuries.
The other people involved had non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The collision remains under investigation.
