Lampasas,TX : Fatal ATV accident occurs on November, Monday 6th 2017

A fatal ATV accident occurred Monday afternoon at a ranch on County Road 3790.

Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office responded with a deputy and an investigator, while Texas Parks and Wildlife sent game wardens to the scene. The emergency call was made around 1:52 p.m.

Steve Scruggs, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Greg Chapman.

Scruggs reportedly was trying to pen cattle with his son-in-law when he rolled the ATV, which ejected the man. He suffered internal injuries as a result of the ejection.
