Pensacola, FL : Car crashes into house, no one hurt on Thursday, 27th October, 2016
No one was seriously injured after two vehicles crashed Thursday and the impact forced one of them through a fence and into a house.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. at the intersection of Spanish Trail and Langley Avenue.
A 2007 Toyota Tundra driven by Braydon Chance Dewberry, 17, of Pensacola was northbound on Spanish Trail approaching the intersection of Langley Avenue on a green light.
Meanwhile, a 2014 BMW driven by Ayfer Wilcox, 58, of Niceville was eastbound on Langley Avenue approaching the intersection on a red light.
Wilcox ran the red light and hit the Tundra on its driver’s side, Officer Michael Gibowski said. The collision forced the Tundra off the road, through a fence and two walls of a house in the 4200 block of Spanish Trail Place. The house received significant damage.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and went to a hospital for treatment. Wilcox was given a citation for running a red light, Gibowski said.
