VILLA RICA, GA : Georgia troopers seek SUV in deadly hit and run on Saturday, November 12th 2016

The Georgia State Patrol is searching for an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a man walking in Villa Rica.

The crash happened Saturday morning at the intersection of Thornton Road and Factory Shoals Road. When officers arrived, they found a man fatally injured on the west shoulder of the road.

Investigators at the scene collected evidence who said it belonged to an Infiniti FX35, between the years 2009 and 2011. The SUV’s color remains unknown.

The victim’s name has not been released.
