Milwaukee, WI : 30-year-old man died in a fatal crash near Sherman Boulevard and Florist Avenue early Monday morning, July 11, 2016

Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that left a Milwaukee man dead early Monday morning.

A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was driving around 2:30 a.m. when he lost control and crashed his vehicle into a tree near Sherman Boulevard and Florist Avenue.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was called to the scene. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Initial investigation showed that speed may have been a factor in the crash, police said.
