Rehoboth ,MA :Woman hit by SUV in Rehoboth on Saturday ,June 27th 2015

A woman was struck by a vehicle while trying to walk across the street in Rehoboth Saturday night.Holly Elizabeth Boysen, 30, of Rehoboth was found on the middle of the roadway after she was hit by a Ford Escape SUV when she attempted to cross Winthrop Street in rain, in an unlit area, before 9 p.m. on June 27th. Boysen was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries but is in stable condition. Police say Eileen Gallagher, 51, of Marshfield, MA was the driver of the Ford Escape and was traveling east on Winthrop Street. She stopped and stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials.
