One dead after crash near Ramsay Montana
Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff Ed Lester has confirmed that a 29-year-old female died after being transported to the hospital from a crash Thursday afternoon.Lester said two other people were critically injured. They were transported to St. James Hospital in Butte with the victim who died.The victim's name has not yet been released.Lester explained the three people were in a pickup truck that rear ended a tractor-trailer hauling cows near Ramsay on I-90.He said the tractor-trailer truck driver was also sent to the hospital, though he's not sure the driver's injuries were critical.Montana Highway Patrol reports troopers were dispatched to the the crash just before 4:30 p.m.The crash closed about 10 miles of the interstate for a couple hours.Traffic had to to be rerouted onto Frontage Road back to Rocker.
