A three-vehicle crash in Scott County occurred a little after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, according to State Police.
John Benjamin Davidson,37, was driving a Chey Tahoe headed on south on Hwy. 71 when he crossed the center line and hit 56-year-old Charles Forrest, who was driving a Kia Sorento.
Both vehicles crashed head-on and stopped on the west side of the highway, according to the report.
Another vehicle, a Chey Silverado, received minor damage to the left rear side and also stopped on the west side of the highway.
Forrest died in the crash and Davidson was injured, say police.
