Auburn ,WY : Sandy man dies in western Wyoming crash on Saturday ,July 25th 2015

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a weekend crash near the Utah-Wyoming border as a Sandy, Utah man.

WHP Sgt. David Wagener said Michael J. Johnson, 42, was driving a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro southbound on Wyoming Highway 238 about 7:20 p.m. Saturday when he lost control and crashed, about two miles north of Auburn, Wyo.

Johnson's car rolled, ejecting him, along with a 23-year-old front seat male passenger from Afton. A 27-year-old back seat passenger, also male and from Afton, was not ejected.

None of the occupants wore seat belts.

Johnson was dead at the scene. His passengers were taken by ambulance to Star Valley Medical Center in Afton, where they were in serious-to-critical condition.
