Alexandria, MN : A 28-year-old Carlos man died in motorcycle crash on Saturday, June 3, 2017

A 28-year-old Carlos man died in motorcycle crash in southwest Minnesota on Saturday, June 3.

Levi Robert Wildman, who was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was westbound on Highway 19 east of Marshall when he crossed the centerline, hitting a 2013 Cadillac SRX wagon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The driver of the Cadillac was Adolph Bernardy, 87, of Wabasso. The crash happened shortly before noon.

Wildman was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, where he was pronounced dead. Bernardy was taken to Avera Hospital in Marshall with non-life threatening injuries.

According to the state patrol report, it is unknown if Wildman was wearing a helmet.

Assisting the state patrol were the Lyon County Sheriff's Office, Marshall Police Department, Tracy Police Department, Marshall Fire Department and North Ambulance.
