Fort Myers police officer was injured in a multi-vehicle crash at Colonial Boulevard

A Fort Myers police officer was injured in a multi-vehicle crash at Colonial Boulevard and Six Mile Cypress Friday night.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the eastbound and westbound lanes of Colonial Boulevard were closed, but have reopened.

It is unknown if anyone else involved in the crash suffered injuries.
