Jacksonville ,FL : One person transported to hospital after Crash at the Interstate 295 southbound entrance ramp on Friday Morning ,March 20th 2015

One person was transported to the hospital after a crash on the Westside, Friday morning.

Just before 7 a.m. a van and a car were involved in a crash on Wilson Boulevard eastbound at the Interstate 295 southbound entrance ramp, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The vehicle ran into the pole that powers the traffic lights, as a result of the crash.

One person was injured in the crash but we do not yet know the extent of the injuries.

The right lane of Wilson Boulevard eastbound, at the Interstate 295 southbound entrance ramp is closed while troopers work to investigate and clear the crash.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
