Marion, IN : Driver killed in head-on crash with semi on State Road 15 in Grant County on Wednesday, Sep 9, 2015

A Marion, Indiana woman died after a semi crossed the centerline of State Road 15 and hit the car she was driving head-on early Wednesday morning according to state police.

Sierra Edwards, 31, was traveling south on State Road 15 south of County Road 600 North just before 6:30 a.m. when for an unknown reason, a northbound semi driven by John Frey, 73, of Milford crossed the traveled into the southbound lanes and hit Edwards’ Dodge Neon head-on.

Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not yet completed their investigation, but neither drugs or alcohol are suspected of being a factor in the crash.
