Seymour, IN : Brownstown woman dies in I-65 crash on Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2017
State Police a Brownstown woman was killed and two people from Illinois suffered serious injuries when they crashed on Interstate 65 north of Seymour early Sunday afternoon.
Police say Kimberly Sneed of Brownstown lost control of her silver Honda Civic as she was merging onto northbound I-65 from northbound State Road 11. The car spun onto the northbound lanes and was struck head-on by a blue Honda CRV driven by Anthony Bonadonna, 72, of Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Police say Sneed died at Columbus Regional Hospital. Bonadonna and his wife, Diana Bonadonna, 56, were taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana then transferred to Indianapolis with serious injuries.
NorthboundI-65 were closed for approximately two hours for crash investigators.
Police have not determined if weather conditions contributed to the crash.
