BETHEL HEIGHTS, AR : Bus carrying Springdale High School students involved in crash on Tuesday, 29th January 2019

A Springdale School District bus was involved in a crash on Tuesday morning, according to Springdale Schools spokesman Rick Schaeffer.

Schaeffer told 40/29 News the crash happened in Bethel Heights.The district said Springdale High School students were on the bus at the time to the crash, but no injuries were reported. Another bus is en-route to pickup the students and take them to school.

According to the Bethel Heights police department, a call about the crash came in around 8:40 a.m.

It happened at the intersection of North Oak Street and Apple Blossom Avenue. Officers say at least 50 students were on board.

Police said the bus was making a turn and scrapped a car in the process.
